With over 6000 years of brewing history,

beer has played an important role in civilized cultures

throughout time. A culture of its own has also evolved around beer. This is most

evident in events such as the Oktoberfest, the world's largest folk event of any kind. You will also notice it in more subtle areas, such as beer presentation and enjoyment. Here is some information to better integrate beer into your culture:

Some HBA Recommendations:

Bismark Munich Helles: Named after the great German battleship because of how easily it goes down. Golden in color with a medium body, it employs the use of Tettnanger hops to bitter, flavor and finish this smooth mellow German lager.

Crimson Oktoberfest: Copper colored, medium bodied, malty brew with a sweet toasted malt flavor and aroma. This style was originally brewed for Oktoberfest but is too good not to be consumed year round.

Blitzkrieg Dortmunder: Golden colored beer with medium bitterness and body. It has aslightly higher alcohol content than a Munich Helles and is not as malty. Spalter hops are used to bitter this easy drinking brew.
