Q. Why did we migrate to a new email service?
A. Homebrew Adventures is always looking for better ways to serve our customers. We believe the new service is more reliable, and has additional features that many of you have asked for (such as one-click retrieval of external email accounts).
Q. Did I loose any email during the migration?
A. We made every effort to prevent the loss of email. Your account was set up on the new system prior to disabling the old system. Thus any email sent to your @homebrew.com email address after the migration should be waiting for you in your new email account.
Q. I can't login to the new system. What's my password?
A. For the majority of you, your password should be the same as it was on the old system. However, for a small percentage of the migrated accounts, we had to assign you a new password because your old password was shorter than the minimum 6 characters that the new system requires for improved security. If for what ever reason you find that you can't login using your old password, you should first use the 'Forgot Your Password' page to retrieve a new password. If you still have difficulty, send an email to 'admin@homebrew.com' requesting help. Please include as much of the following information as you can for security purposes: account name, first and last name, and your secret question and secret answer.
Q. How do I log into the old system if I need to?
A. If you need to log into the old system to view old account info, simply go to http://homebrew.hosting.coconut.co.uk and log in using your old account information.
Q. Where are all of my old email messages?
A. Don't worry - your saved messages have not been lost. They are waiting for you to import from the old system using the following instructions. You can retrieve them using your new homebrew.com webmail system, or any POP enabled email program (such as Outlook or Eudora) with the following settings.
After completing the above steps, you are now ready to retrieve email from your INBOX on the old system. If you need to retrieve email from other folders (such as Drafts, Sent Mail, and Trash Can), then repeat the above steps with the following change to step #4:
